Due to immobilization of phosphate by minerals ions such as Ca, Al and Fe the rate of available phosphate in soil is well below plant’s need. Chemicals fertilizers are also immobilized in the soil, immediately so that only 20% of added fertilizers is absorbed by plants. PSB converts insoluble phosphatic compound such as rock phosphate, bone meal, basic slag and particularly the chemically fixed soil. Phosphate, bone meal, basic slag and particularly the chemicals fixed soil phosphorous into available forms. Such organism not only assimilates phosphorous but also cause a large amount of soluble phosphate to be released in excess of their own requirement and saves P2O5 up to 30-50kg/ha.
In addition to P2O5 it increases micro nutrients to plant like Mn, Mg, Fe, B, Zn and Cu from the soil. Encourages faster root growth for water and nutrient uptake. Increases resistances towards diseases and drought tolerance due to rapid cell development. Produces organic acids like malic, succine, fumaric, citric, tartaric acid and acetic acid which fastens the P2O5 uptake, maturity and increases yield. Reduces up to 30% phosphatic fertilizers requirement.
